Schwinn Circuit at JR's Recyclables This bicycle was literally pulled out of a container of scrap metal bound for the shredder Little was it known the seat post, handlebar stem, and bottom bracket cone were very very stuck Circuit is a 1987 No bicycles were made in Chicago since 1982 Its more organized than it looks Circuit arrives at home Rusty Gold ---Heh! Not good but not a big deal Rusty Cinelli  :) Clean up time The Circuit was the top end fully assembled bicycle Schwinn sold that year The Paramount was the ultimate Schwinn, but sold as the frame only Appears much blacker after a rub down and soaking in WD 40 and then STP tire shine Mechanical work in progress The seat post and stem remain remarkably frozen in place Both are at an acceptable height, so that is a big deal Neither ever came loose The expected trouble loosening the freewheel didn't develop No kickstand on this racing bicycle One is on order -- not having one is very inconvenient Lock ring and adjustable cup...
