Kickapoo Part 4

Image
Back to Kickapoo, this time to ride the entire route around the park Turns out its only 4 miles, but, lots of scenery and some fairly steep (read damn steep) slopes to ascend/descend Being from the north of the county, steep slopes are not something to be dealt with to any great extent Raleigh arrives at mid-park Mountain Bike trails are a no way, not even maybe for me Been there done that -- never again Leaving the parking area headed east among the woodlands A breath of fresh air after endless corn and bean fields Cemetery within the park -- apparently still in use Very steep descent into a ravine Very steep ascent out of ravine Road then flattens out Two cyclists way ahead on e-bikes Made it to the top and recovered from 02 deprivation Those are the cyclists way up ahead We would meet and have a nice chat down the road S Very steep decline -- photo doesn't do it justice / As posted on 365 Kickapoo Part 4 – Cycle 365
