Downtown Demolition

Having served its purpose for over 100 years, the time has come . . . .

A large portion of a downtown city block is being demolished

Long abandoned and seriously deteriorated the section was once a center of thriving businesses

Work is progressing westward with 2 more buildings to go

This area was once housed a clothing store and drug store, and a small department store where my Huffy was purchased in 1973

Once completed, the demo area will look like this, planted to grass, and possible site of new businesses ---Yeah, Right  :)

July Rides Week One

Kickapoo Rained Out

 The best made plans as they say . . . . Rain was predicted for this morning but was supposed to be clear of the area by now Obviously, it wasn't CT was tucked away in the back of the Edge where unfortunately it would remain Blurry photo of a stop sign on the Middlefork Riveri I guess canoes and tubes are to not go beyond this point???
