Saturday Morning Ride 7-4-22
This morning was one of those rare times when conditions were perfect for a nice ride in the country
Temperatures were cool, clear skies, low humidity, and NO WIND!

Flat area is a terrace along the river
Road cut through a moraine crest

Railroad cut through a moraine crest
Exposure of glacial till
Glacially flattened boulder
The scratches are most likely due to impacts with farm machinery rather than glacial striations
RR located upslope on the moraine to avoid flooding at lower levels to the west
In the far distance is another moraine
Yellow flower among the weeds
Weathered boards among weeds
