Thundering 7.5 MPH @ mile 4.9

Tree damage from severe storm a few weeks ago

Soybeans to the left and right

Barely visible on the horizon are wind turbines in Indiana

Flooding rains from previously mentioned storm piled cornstalk debris in the ditch

Soybeans with tree line in the distance along the North Fork of the Vermilion River

Several miles later . . . . and past many corn and soybean fields we approach the North Fork a mile south of town

Mostly obscured by the vegetation is a meander scar from a previous position of the North Fork

North Fork River   (AKA Steely's Creek from a farmer years ago)

Back side of the High School and buses
Dave and I smile and keep pedaling

City crews repair a water main to the left of Dave
Former water superintendent Steve smiles and keeps on pedaling
